Cudjoe Key (Tall Namwah Variant) Banana Pup

Cudjoe Key is a banana found thriving on rocky, dry terrain in the Florida Keys. It appears to be a variant of tall Namwah, having a having a very similar growth habit and flavor, thought it is clearly a different variety than the other types of Tall Namwah we grow.

This banana has been one of the better performers at Cody Cove Farm and is a highly recommended option to try in Florida gardens. Unfortunately we were unable to find any great photos of the plants or fruit for this listing.

We have pruned off the top of these pups to make shipping viable. Though not aesthetically pleasing, this is not a problem for the banana pup. It quickly grows out the top of the cut and resumes normal growth. This practice is common in the banana industry.
