Giant Turmeric – Live Plant

This turmeric is exactly what the name indicates. Big, super, stupendously giant turmeric! This is a very special new clone of turmeric with really serious potential. Our source for this variety reports that each plant can yield as much as five pounds. So far the results have been impressive at Cody Cove Farm. The fingers of this turmeric are several fold larger than some more common types, simply amazing! The flavor is no different than any other. This is a major step up from turmeric with fingers the diameter of a pinky.

This listing is for one plant, grown from a piece of a finger. We have a very limited supply this year but should have good volume in 2026. It’s a little late to be planting and starting pieces for the live plants were relatively small chunks. These plants are unlikely to yield much by winter of 2025, but if you get one you will have an established plant that will give large yields the following season and you will secure the genetics in your garden.
