Moringa performs very well throughout most of Florida (maybe barring northernmost parts of the state) and can re-sprout from the ground after hard freezes in much of the state. The trees can be very fast growing and establish to a nice size within one year. Trees can tolerate aggressive pruning to manage size and promote tender growth for eating.

Moringa seeds germinate readily from seed in a well draining soil with warm temperatures. Trees grown from seed can establish into nice size specimens within one year if they are given proper care.
